We are thrilled to announce that Lil’ Buck & The McComb-Veazey All-Stars and Roddie Romero & The Hub City All-Stars are going to link their sets together this Saturday afternoon at  ROOTSTOCK!

Join us from Noon-2 p.m. for Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie, who will christen our 1,056-square-foot oak dancefloor.

From 2:30-3:15 p.m. we’ll feature some great young players during our LFR Kids Camp Spotlight hosted by Yvette Landry.

At 3:45 p.m. we’ll crank up the super set with Clifton Chenier & The Red Hot Louisiana Band alums Paul “Lil’ Buck” Sinegal and Charles Goodman with special guests Lee Allen Zeno, Clarence “Jockey” Etienne, Johnny Monette, Greg Gordon, Bobby Allen, Bobby Matthews and Lloyd Richard.

At 5 p.m. our super set will segue into Roddie Romero & The Hub City All-Stars with special guests Tommy McLain, Michael Doucet, Zachary Richard and Yvette Landry.

We'll feature delicious cuisine from Taco SistersMamma T's and Vermilionville; local craft beers from Bayou Teche Brewing as well as select wines; and great activities for kids courtesy of The Little Paintbrush. We'll also feature fine crafts from members of the Louisiana Crafts Guild for your shopping pleasure!

ROOTSTOCK will benefit the year-round programming of Louisiana Folk Roots, which includes our annual Balfa Week and our Cajun & Creole Summer Camp for Kids, both of which take place at Lafayette’s Vermilionville Living History Museum and Folklife Park.
