Workshop locations will again be located in the group camp area, therefore having a car at camp will not be a necessity.

We have arranged for Professional Travel in Lafayette, La to have the following packages available for you to purchase:

  • shuttle between Chicot State Park and the Lafayette Regional Airport

  • Discounted hotel rooms after the close of the Heritage Week so that you may attend Lafayette's Festival International. A shuttle will be available from the hotel to the festival. Hotels fill up way in advance during this time, so we advise you to make your travel plans early.

  • Airline Reservations


    • To take advantage of any one or more of these options, arrangements must be made through the travel agency and all fees for only these travel options will be paid directly to them. Louisiana Folk Roots does not have further details. To find out any more info, you must contact Professional Travel at 337-234-4100.
