LOUISIANA RESIDENT PART-TIME PROGRAM

April 21 - 27, 2006 at Chicot State Park, Ville Platte, Louisiana

We offer options for Louisiana Residents to attend our program on a part-time basis. There are afternoon or evening classes as well as the nightly dances and the Roots Heritage Festival. Folks can also attend just the morning intensive sessions for 5 days. The link below will display the printable registration form including class listings, prices and other details. All classes run from Sunday, April 23 through Thursday, April 27, 2006.

  • MORNING OPTION
    9:00 - 10:15am and 10:30 - 11:45am
    for La resident only, $220 (fee includes 2 class periods for 5 days, Sunday, April 23 through Thursday, April 27)
  • MASTER WORKSHOP PRESENTATIONS
    2:45 - 3:45pm
    for each class selected La residents $10, Non-residents $20
  • LOCAL LAGNIAPPE Aftenoon Sessions
    4:00 - 5:15pm
    for each class selected La residents $10, Non-residents $20
  • LOCAL LAGNIAPPE Evening Sessions
    5:30 - 6:30pm
    for each class selected La residents $10, Non-residents $20
  • STOMPIN AT THE SWAMP PUBLIC DANCES
    7:30 - 10:30pm
    $5 per person per night, Free for kids 12 & under & members of "Friends of Louisiana Folk Roots"

  • A Louisiana Resident is considered to be someone who has lived full time within Louisiana for the previous 24 months.

    The registration form is to be filled out only if you are registering for classes. If you are attending only the dances or festival, you may pay at the door. Do not mail form and payment after April 14, you may register at the event.
